In an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip from Jurassic World Revival , Scarlett Johansson and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo offer a glimpse into the emotional heart of the upcoming film.
Johansson, who plays Secret Ops leader Zora Bennett, explains, “In Jurassic World Rebirth, my team is tasked with collecting DNA samples, and then a family that’s on their own journey ends up getting swept up in all of this.”
Garcia-Rulfo, one of the most talented Latino actors working in Hollywood today, shared that he portrays Reuben Delgado as a devoted father on a family trip that turns into a fight for survival. “Jurassic World Rebirth follows the story of the mission and then the story of this family who happens to be there by chance,” he says.
“I play Reuben Delgado and we are introduced to his family. They are taking this trip on their beloved boat, La Mariposa. Immediately, I was so engaged and moved by the family’s story.”
His connection to the character and the emotional weight of the story adds a powerful dimension to a film already packed with tension and spectacle. As the plot unfolds, Reuben’s family is forced onto a collision course with something much bigger than themselves.

What is the Jurassic World Revival about?
Five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the new film explores a world where dinosaurs exist only in isolated tropical areas. Zora Bennett’s high-stakes mission to recover the DNA of these surviving species is complicated when her team crosses paths with a shipwrecked family. What begins as a rescue quickly spirals into a fight for survival against prehistoric predators and a buried secret tied to the original Jurassic Park facility.
Actor David Iacono , who plays one of Reuben Delgado’s sons, adds: “They are very grateful to be rescued, but they quickly begin to realize that they are probably worse off than they started. The family has nothing to do with dinosaurs, but they are inevitably greeted with dinosaurs.”

Who is behind the film?
Directed by BAFTA winner Gareth Edwards (Rogue One) and written by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, Jurassic World Rebirth is produced by Oscar nominee Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer.
