Emily Alyn Lind is speaking out about how she dealt with the big twist at the end of the first season of We Were Liars .
While speaking to Us Weekly the 23-year-old actress opened up about how she handled filming the major plot twist in the TV adaptation of We Were Liars .

Fans of the original novel of the same name will already know that the plot twist involves most of the characters being ghosts while Emily ‘s character is suffering from amnesia and has forgotten the accident that took her life.
According to Emily acting like she wasn’t aware that her characters’ friends were actually ghosts all along wasn’t that hard because she tended to forget.
She told the publication: “So many times, I just forgot what had happened. That they were supposed to be dead. I think that’s why the twist is so good, not because of me, but just because we [were] still connected. We all decided to go the same way, that we’re not going to — they didn’t act like they were dead.”
