In a worrying sign for Team India, keeper Rishabh Pant injured his left hand, while doing his duties on the first day of the IND vs ENG, Lord’s Test, on Thursday. The incident happened during the second session, in the 34th overs of the innings, when Jasprit Bumrah bowled one to Ollie Pope.
Just as he collected the ball, he looked visibly in pain, and immediately the physio was called. But then, despite heavy bandaging on the hand, it was a forceful blow, and Rishabh Pant had to go off the field.
