What happened to Tabitha Turner during her highway Uber Ride?
According to Turner, the sports commentator, she arrived at the Atlanta airport after wrapping up a work trip. According to Turner’s lawyer, Miguel Dominguez, she requested a ride from Uber. The service gave Turner the option to customize her ride with accommodations like preferred car temperature and more.
“So she gets in there. There’s no air conditioning, and she doesn’t complain for a while because she’s thinking, ‘Maybe when we get on the expressway and all this hot air starts rushing into this vehicle, maybe the driver will notice… and she’ll put the air on,'” Dominguez explained to Carter, adding that the driver had the windows down in the vehicle.
According to Carter, when the trip began, Smith turned on the AC. However, she didn’t roll up the windows. At this point, Turner complained to Smith, and she became irritated. According to Dominguez, Smith stopped while driving on the freeway and ordered Turner out of the vehicle.
