According to CBS 4, the FBI began its investigation into Stapp in November 2024. According to the outlet, the department reportedly received a report from Snapchat about attempted sex trafficking on the platform. Additionally, it was reported that the user “Morgan-Stapp” sent three photos of her 7-month-old daughter to a man.
“You can fuck her for $400,” one message read, adding, “Half now, rest later. I’ll send you my address. I live alone and her dad isn’t in the picture.”
On November 11, 2024, FBI agents reportedly interviewed Stapp about the messages. She, in turn, claimed her account had been hacked and she no longer had access to it. Then, a month later, Stapp reportedly told her story, admitting that she had lied to the agents.
“I wish the FBI would leave,” she reportedly expressed.
In December, Indianapolis police joined the FBI investigation and discovered that Stapp’s Snapchat account was active after his initial interview.
“Would you be interested in buying my nudes so I can pick up baby diapers?” She reportedly messaged 81 times to various users.

Per CBS 4, Stapp was officially charged with attempted child sex trafficking on July 1st. Then, on Tuesday, July 8th, she was reportedly arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail. The outlet adds that her bond has been set at $200,000. Additionally, an initial hearing in her case is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday, July 11th.

Eventually, the parents allegedly signed away their rights to the child in exchange for a $1,000 check.
Furthermore, they allegedly prohibit the man from contacting them in the future.
