The Bold and the Beautiful has Dr. Li Finnegan announcing Luna Nozawa ‘s death once she finished fighting so hard to save her life on the CBS soap. But it makes you wonder if Li followed her duty as a doctor, only to have her protective mother role end Luna’s life in the recovery room.

Did Li do his ethical duty as a doctor and then decide to eliminate the danger to his son’s family? Or is something else going on behind the scenes with Li Finnegan?

The Bold and the Beautiful: What Is Li Finnegan Up To?

The Bold and the Beautiful dropped some insight into Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) mindset about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), even before this three-way shooting occurred. She talked to Finn about Luna’s upbringing.

Both mother and son carried some guilt for not being there for Luna. So while Li despised Luna for what she had done, a part of her felt sorry for her. This was a change for Li, who didn’t seem to care about Luna after her horrific actions.

Then, once Li had Luna on the operating table, she used the term “Nozawa’s power” to seemingly bring her back to life. Okay, it was probably a coincidence, but she said it, and Luna seemed to respond by breathing again.

It was as if, in that moment, Li finally recognized Luna as part of her family, after seemingly disowning her. Yet it’s what happened in the recovery room that begins another Bold and Beautiful mystery.

B&B: I read alone with Luna Nozawa

The last thing The Bold and the Beautiful viewers came to see about Luna Nozawa was when Li Finnegan insisted on being alone with her in the recovery room. Li sent Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones), saying she could handle Luna’s recovery process alone.

Then we learn that Luna is dead. Li comes out to the waiting area and announces that Luna passed away in the recovery room. But depending on which way The Bold and the Beautiful goes with it, Luna may still be alive.

Remember when Finn was declared dead a little while back on B&B ? Li orchestrated an elaborate ploy to nurse him back from the dead. Is Li up to his old tricks again?

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Kills Luna – Or Another Fakeout Death?

The Bold and the Beautiful has ended Luna’s character for now, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see her again. Li has already gone to great lengths to keep Finn alive after he was declared dead.

She rented an apartment and converted it into something resembling a hospital. She ended up transporting her son (who had received a death certificate) to that room. Li then secretly nursed him back to life, without anyone knowing. Then, after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot Finn, Li secretly brought him back to life.

Now, after confessing to Finn that she felt sorry for Luna Nozawa, you have to wonder if Li took Luna away the same way she did a seemingly dead Finn.

Perhaps Li has plans to lock Luna away from Finn and his family until she can rehabilitate her. Or did she see a chance in that recovery room and kill her new granddaughter to save her son’s family from a life of danger?

B&B: Kill Luna… or not?

Li Finnegan died, so she was alone in the recovery room with Luna in The Bold and the Beautiful . Li never wavered as a doctor; she did everything she could to keep Luna alive. But as Finn’s mother, she may have seen an opportunity to spare him a life of sadness and end Luna’s life.

It seems terribly suspicious that Li cleared the recovery room saying she’d stay with her niece, and then Luna is dead. She died despite the operation being a success. So, there are a few ways B&B could handle Luna Nozawa’s death. She could have killed her or even faked her death.

But it could be that Luna Nozawa actually died from complications in the recovery room, as Li Finnegan reported on the CBS soap.

Head back to the soapy mess for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
