Columbus Short secured a temporary restraining order against his wife, Aida Abramyan , following a domestic dispute involving their 10-week-old puppy. The actor reportedly also took action after the situation left him with an injury.

Columbus Short claims injury during dispute with wife Aida Abramyan
According to a court document obtained by TMZ, Columbus Short filed a temporary restraining order against his wife, Aida Abramyan, accusing her of becoming aggressive toward him and their puppy. Short stated that on Monday, July 7, Aida allegedly agitated their 10-week-old puppy. When he confronted her, she allegedly became physically violent and struck him in the face multiple times, causing a cut above his eye and drawing blood. Short added that a concerned neighbor, who heard Aida screaming, called the police. When officers arrived, they observed her injuries and bruises and later arrested Aida.
TMZ also reported that this wasn’t the first alleged incident involving her pup. Columbus Short explained that after he brought the dog home on June 21, Aida became upset when the dog urinated inside the house and began kicking him. When Short tried to intervene, she allegedly hit him with a glass trophy.
In Court Docs, Short asked a judge to order Aida to stay 100 yards away from him and his two children. He reportedly also wants her removed from the family home.

Columbus Short also claims that his wife, Aida, verbally abuses him daily, according to TMZ. He says she has even allegedly pulled knives on him before and bit him. The couple reportedly married in 2016 and share two sons—Denzel, born in early 2017, and Liam, who arrived in 2020, per Yahoo .
