IPL 2026 Comércio: CSK e duas outras equipes devem travar a primeira oportunidade de obter Rinku Singh de KKR

Batter Rinku Singh has only played for one franchise only, in his entire career- KKR. The southpaw played his first in 2018, and has been a regular feature in the side — so-much-so, that he was retained ahead of IPL 2025 for INR 13 Cr. But perhaps, time has come now for him, and even KKR to look at new avenues. 2025 could be considered second year on the trot where Rinku wasn’t at his best — scoring 2016 runs in 13 matches at an average of 29. His highest was only 38.

IN 2024, he endured a poor season, scoring 168 in 15 games, at an average of 18. The IPL trade window for the 2026 is open, and it could be a chance for some of the struggling teams to get Rinku Singh, of course if only KKR is interested in a trade deal, at all.

The first on the list has to be CSK. There are already some rumours floating around, suggesting that the Chennai franchise is interested in letting go Shivam Dube. Yes, Sanju Samson might just be coming to CSK, but they need to strengthen their middle order. Rahul Tripathi, Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar all failed miserably, and MS Dhoni looked reluctant to face many deliveries. In that scenario, Rinku Singh could come in handy.

Next on the list has to be Rajasthan Royals. The team struggled to just win in 2025 IPL, mostly because of their batting. Shimron Hetmyer scored only at an average of 21. Nitish Rana had 217 runs in the season. But still something was missing in the team. Rinku, maybe if bats in top 4-5, would have a lot more to offer to the RR franchise.

SRH could also look at the possibility of getting Rinku. Though a solid line-up, IPL trade window rumours suggest that Ishan Kishan is on his way out. In that case, the India cap fits the bill. There he could get a chance to show, that he is much more than a finisher and can bat through the innings, in different situations.
