Yashasvi Jaiswal and Akash Deep resumed the innings for India on Day 3 and went on to stitch a 107-run partnership that frustrated England. Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley started off the 374 run-chase on a positive note but it was India who had the last laugh. Crawley was cleaned up by a brilliant delivery from Mohammed Siraj on the last ball of the day, leaving England with just 8 wickets at hand to achieve the record run-chase.
