Wicked fans are in for a treat ahead of Wicked: Ever After ’s theatrical release this fall.
On November 6, NBC will air the Wicked Live Special Live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, featuring the film’s stars, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The duo, along with other stars from the film (plus surprise guests), will perform songs from the first Wicked film. NBCUniversal is also teasing that “maybe, just maybe, a little bit from the next film,” according to a press release.
The show is scheduled to air on NBC at 8:00 PM ET/PT on November 6 and will begin streaming on Peacock starting November 7. Wicked: Ever After will make its theatrical release on November 21.

Grande and Erivo are no strangers to performing live on television together; the duo teamed up to open the 2025 Oscars with a medley of songs from Wicked , The Wizard of Oz , and The Wiz .
Released last November, Wicked grossed over $750 million at the global box office, becoming the biggest Broadway musical adaptation of all time. The film received 10 Oscar nominations, winning two: Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.
