Beyonce 43, reportedly took a helicopter ride with her wife, with whom she shares three children, to take a look at the Oxfordshire stack.
The land reportedly spanned 58 acres and a source told The Oxford Mail : “Last week, Beyonce and Jay-Z flew in by helicopter between their London shows to view a 58-acre plot of land.
“Located close to friends Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi and with Simon Cowell and the Beckhams as neighbours, she felt it would be an ideal UK home for her family, away from the city when they are in the country.”
It is reported that his helicopter landed at Enstone Airfield, with the visit squeezed in between his London shows.
Sources previously told MailOnline the “land and space” on offer at the Cotwolds proved a huge draw and previously said: “The bushfires have given them good reason to look outside of Los Angeles to build new bases.
“They will always be based in Los Angeles, but the UK is on the agenda.
“Beyonce loves the UK because they support everything she does.”
Stars with homes there include the Beckhams and model Kate Moss, 51, while sun columnist Jeremy Clarkson, 65, runs a farm and pub.
Music star Calvin Harris is also building a country compound in the area after snapping up three mansions.
Earlier this year, Beyonce and Jay-Z were declared the richest celebrity couple – with a combined fortune of £2billion.

The speculation comes after the Alien Star hitmaker vacated his £25,000-a-night hotel suite so US chart star Mariah Carey could move in.
The Crazy In Love Singer was staying at the Corinthia’s £25,000-a-night penthouse for her Cowboy Carter Tour dates at the Tottenham Stadium.
Even as Mariah arrived on Friday, Beyonce packed her bags and checked into Claridge’s for the last few nights of her stay.
A source said: “Superstars of the stature of Beyonce and Mariah only want to stay in the best hotels.
“Beyonce was staying at the Corinthia penthouses.
“But when Mariah came in, Beyonce packed her bags so Mariah could take over her suites.
“It was as if Beyonce was bowing down to another musical queen.”
