Blake Lively is preparing for her upcoming deposition against Justin Baldoni .
On Friday (July 11), the 37-year-old actress’s legal team filed a new motion requesting to move her upcoming deposition to a new location. According to the filing, her legal team feels Justin, 41, is trying to turn the deposition into a “public spectacle.”

PEOPLE obtained the newly filed documents.
According to the filing, Justin’s legal team previously requested that the upcoming deposition be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, suggesting that tickets for the deposition be sold to television viewers.
The new order requests that Justin and his legal team be barred from choosing the location of the next deposition.
The filing reads in part: “The high-profile nature of this litigation, and the nature of Ms. Lively’s retaliation claims, demonstrate a substantial risk of the deposition turning into a publicity event and potentially attracting interested individuals who may pose security risks.”
In a statement to PEOPLE , Blake’s reps accused Justin and his legal team of trying to turn the deposition into “a public spectacle at every turn.”
