“I will later. I’m just creating such wonderful, wonderful ideas.” Dolly continued, “But I don’t think I’ll finish. I can’t do it now, because I have so many other things.”
She explained: “I can’t afford the luxury of, you know, getting emotional right now. There are moments like this, things like this, that will stop you a little bit. But I’ll write something else if it comes… I’m just putting all that on hold.”
Dolly announced in March that Carl had died at the age of 82. They were married for 58 years. A week after Carl ‘s passing, Dolly released a new song in his honor.
While she may be taking a break from working on new music, Dolly will soon be heading to Las Vegas for a new residency!
