It looks like Dree Hemingway has joined the cast of Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series American Love Story !
The 37-year-old actress was spotted in costume while filming scenes with co-star Paul Kelly on Tuesday (July 8) in New York City.
Dree is the great-granddaughter of legendary author Ernest Hemingway . She had a successful modeling career and appeared in films such as Star Wars , While We’re Young, and It Happened in L.A.
Dree appears to be portraying real-life actress Daryl Hannah who was in a relationship with John F. Kennedy Jr.
JFK Jr. dated Daryl for five and a half years after knowing each other for years. Their relationship began after seeing each other again at his aunt Lee Radziwill ‘s wedding in 1988.
Years after their breakup, JFK Jr. married Carolyn Bessette , who will be portrayed by Sarah Pidgeon in the upcoming series. The couple died tragically in a plane crash in 1999, when she was 33 and he was 38. They were the subject of much media scrutiny when their romance began, through their deaths.
Recently, a member of the Kennedy Family slammed the upcoming series and called out Ryan for not consulting with them.
