Elon Musk is taking another huge shot across the bow.
Of course, the Tesla Mogul is all over his former friend (?!) Donald Trump regarding the president’s alleged appearance in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein files. Elon went after the POTUS last month by sending a Twitter post accusing Trump of appearing in the disturbing files—implying he was part of the teen sex trafficking ring! He said it was “the real reason they weren’t made public.” Damn!
Elon, notably, backed down from this, apparently choosing peace with Trump to save himself some hassle. He never retracted his statement or anything. But when Trump’s next move on Epstein was revealed, the X owner went ballistic!
The Trump-led FBI claimed that no, they actually have zero information on Epstein’s clients. None. No. No client list, not a single shred of evidence against anyone. Please change the subject and look the other way, thank you!
Elon called them out for changing their party line and covering everything up! Now, normally, we’re very hesitant to agree with Musk too much. But his take on that jaw-dropping revelation from Monday was dead on. And now… he’s right again????

On Tuesday, Elon returned to X to name and call… Steve Bannon .
You remember that name, right? Bannon was Trump’s arm during his first term, both as his pre-election campaign manager and as a close advisor. Bannon has legitimate maga credentials. But Elon claimed on Tuesday that Steve is also in the Epstein files!
Responding to a post by another infamous former Trump adviser, Roger Stone , who pointed out how Bannon had coached Epstein on how to appear “nice” on TV, Musk simply replied:
“Bannon is in the Epstein files.”

Great… if true. And also, it’s very much a photo of SpaceX Biz playing in his best friend’s sphere at the White House, after that now-deleted June post we referenced at the top. Yeesh.
In fact, the Bannon-Epstein connection reportedly deepens, according to that stony tweet Elon responded to. Basically, journalist Michael Wolff wrote a book in 2021 called *Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Desirous, the Notorious, the Damned*. In it, he reported that Bannon allegedly met with Epstein several times after Jeffrey was convicted of sex crimes and also helped him prepare for a 60 Minutes interview—that never ended up happening—with some media training.
For his part, Bannon previously told the New York Times that he never trained Epstein in the media, but was meeting with the late financier to expose his “perversions and depravity toward young women” for a documentary. Uh-huh. Everyone who knew him was suddenly silently crusading to stop him.

In any case, Elon has been on a roll all day Tuesday. He’s been responding to all sorts of accounts in X, with messages like this one about Bannon’s alleged appearance in the Epstein files:

That’s a good question.
As we noted on Monday, we generally disagree with Elon, well, anything. But on this terrible topic? There’s definitely a lot of common ground. Because no one is buying the company’s line right now, except for truly sycophantic Trumpists. They’re not that hard to identify, since they’ve all started saying the same thing: hey, Epstein is a Nothingburger, it’s old news, let him go already.
Well, not us. And not Elon.
