Hilaria Baldwin has a message for critics in her comments.
On Monday, Alec Baldwin’s wife took to Instagram to share a sweet video of her kids Leo, 8, and Carmen , 11, showing how fast they’re growing. In the video, Leo walks up to his mom and easily picks her up and holds her for a few seconds. Carmen, who is almost as tall as the yoga instructor, does the same. But when Hilaria tries to lift them back up, she struggles. She captioned the video:
“Leo and Carmen can pick me up now! And I’m scrambling to pick them up. How did this happen so fast???”

Totally relatable mom moment, right? When your kids get bigger than you? Wild what’s going on for Hilaria with the 8-year-old, but hey. She’s little, what are you gonna do?

Many followers thought it was an adorable moment. However, others chose to poke fun at her — keeping in mind the various ways she’s sought attention in the past. Like, you know, the fake Spanish heritage? So, one critic sarcastically wrote in quote:
“‘Look how light I am!'”
Yeah, we don’t think that’s what she was going for… but they’re not wrong. The video has the added bonus of showing just how tight mommy holds him. But The Baldwins star didn’t appreciate the commenter who insinuated her parenting moment was just narcissism in disguise. So she clapped back:
“How about ‘look how strong my kids are’????”
But then someone crossed a line, commenting negatively on Hilaria’s… how do you say… physical appearance. This troll wrote, “Why do all you bones… do you eat?” Oh, come on, guys! The 41-year-old actually took it in stride, matter of factly responding:
“Well, yes, I do.
”

She’s not having it!
But on a more positive note, she noted how she feels her children may soon surpass her thanks to Baldwin’s side:
“They all got the tall genes. I didn’t so much.”
Well, hey, at least it’ll be a while before they’re all taller. In addition to Leo and Carmen, Hilaria also shares Rafael , 10, Romeo , 7, Eduardo , 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with Alec. We’re sure she can still catch the 2-year-old.
