His global adventures have captivated audiences everywhere, with people tuning in to see where in the world he’s next. And after years away from the platform, he decided to stream his travels on Twitch and YouTube.
And while his YouTube viewership still dwindles from his gimmick, he’s managed to hold the sweet spot of live streaming on both at the same time.

Twitch is gradually loosening its restrictions on cross-platform streaming, allowing people to stream across multiple platforms simultaneously. And while Ishowspeed was once banned from streaming indefinitely, that ban has long since been lifted.
Speed’s return to Twitch has been fruitful. While he has a fraction of his YouTube audience on the platform, that percentage is still larger than the vast majority of Twitch streamers.
With peak viewership of over 437,000 on YouTube and 48,000 on Twitch, he’s dominating both platforms. And if you’re thinking that’s partly because it’s a slow morning on Twitch, you wouldn’t necessarily be wrong.
Large esports competitions or streamer events could easily eclipse that 48,000 number, but with major events like LOL’s MSI wrapping up, there wasn’t much else happening on Twitch that would pull in big viewership.
But what was speed doing that attracted so much attention?
He panicked on a roller coaster, nearly collapsing into the river, marking the culmination of his theme park adventure in Turkey. Streaming himself on roller coasters, water slides, and all sorts of other attractions led to a massive spike in viewership, allowing him to briefly hold the crown on the two largest streaming platforms in the market.
