Jensen Ackles is singing his praises for co-star Eric Dane .
The two actors star in the new primary video series Countdown which premieres on June 25.
While attending the show’s premiere on Wednesday (June 18), Jensen, 47, loved working with Eric, 52, calling the Grey’s Anatomy alum a “total stud.”
Read on to find out more…“He has a command of scenes and the set just in his stillness and like his quiet leadership, and it’s something that he also brings from set as well,” Jensen told People . “I mean, he does that when the cameras aren’t rolling.”
“There’s just a quiet leadership to him that I really learned,” the Supernatural alum continued. “So to blend with them on screen, I had to bring it in.”
The premiere also marked the first red carpet event Eric has walked since going public with his ALS diagnosis.
Also at the event, castmate Violett Beane spoke highly of Eric .
“Oh, he’s a phenomenal man. Phenomenal man,” Violett gushed. “And I mean, we were blessed all the time with little nuggets of wisdom and how he would show up on set and yeah, I’m so happy that he’s here today and I can’t wait to hang out with him.”
The first three episodes of Countdown will drop on Wednesday (June 25) and will run through the summer until the season one finale on September 3. Watch the trailer here!
