John Elway will not be charged in the death of his former agent Jeff Sperbeck , who fell from a golf cart the Hall of Fame quarterback was driving.
Authorities ruled it an accidental death, according to USA Today .
Riverside County (California) Sheriff Chad Bianco told a Denver television station that his investigation into the April incident was complete.

“It’s over,” he told 9News . “We talked to everyone involved and found nothing new. There was nothing criminal. That’s what we’ve been saying all along: this was a tragic accident.”
The 62-year-old was standing on the back of a golf cart on a course in La Quinta, California, on April 26 when he fell and hit his head.
