A source is speaking out after Keith Urban is believed to have shut down the radio hosts after they asked a “deeply personal” question.
The 57-year-old country singer was being interviewed Tuesday morning (July 1) on Mix 102.3’s show, “Hayley & Max in the Morning,” to talk about his tour.
After he was asked a question about his wife Nicole Kidman having love scenes with younger men like Zac Efron it seemed as if Keith disconnected from the call.
“He’s disconnected from Zoom,” one of his producers said. “I think his team disconnected us because they didn’t want us to ask that question.”
“This is 100% what just happened. Oh my God! I knew this was coming. We upset him! He’s gone,” host Hayley Peterson added. She then commented that he doesn’t like answering private questions about his wife.
Now, a source is speaking out.

While Keith’s rep didn’t comment, a source told People that it’s false.
“ Keith didn’t shut down, period,” the source said. “He doesn’t host his interviews on Zoom. This is a complete Nothingburger.”
It’s not extremely uncommon for celebrities to end an interview when they feel uncomfortable.
