Kim Kardashian is responding to a resurfacing rumor from over a decade ago.
The 44-year-old reality star was pictured leaving her Paris hotel in October 2014 with her daughter North in her arms, but moments before that, she left the hotel alone.
A video shows Kim leaving the hotel and walking to her waiting car, looking around, and then returning to the hotel. She leaves again, but this time with North on her hip. Fans assumed she forgot to grab her daughter and had to go back inside to get her.
Kim is shutting down the rumors and has already spoken out shortly after the incident.

In 2014, Kim tweeted: “Do you guys really think a 1 year old would be inside the lobby alone! Oh wait, she was waiting to get a look lol.”

She added at the time: “I went to the car to make sure the car seat was there because the day before we had a car seat issue.”
Now, Kim says there was another reason she snuck North inside before grabbing her. She wanted paparazzi photos of herself before leaving with her daughter.
“I wanted to show you the look before I held her, as her outfit didn’t match mine! I’m not over her!!!!” Kim wrote on her Instagram Stories last weekend, according to E! News .
There were more rumors about North that had to be debunked in May 2025.
