General Hospital (GH) Spoilers That Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is moving to Nashville, Tennessee, so she made a social media announcement and explained what this means for Maxie’s future in Port Charles.
In a recent Instagram post, Storms spilled the news about his big move and expressed his excitement.
It’s clear Storms is looking forward to this new chapter in Tennessee.
“I’m so excited to make Tennessee my home! I can’t wait to return to GH once Harper and I are settled in our new city (Nashville),” Storms said.
This is a dream come true for Storms, so she’s eager to share more details about her adventure as it unfolds.
We hope Storms posts additional information so fans can get a glimpse into her new beginning with her daughter.
“I plan to document as much of this new journey as possible on my social media,” Storms added.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to move to a place like this, it’s hard to believe it’s actually happening.”
Kirsten Storms also posted a video that offered an explanation about her time at PC, which thankfully isn’t coming to an end!
Storms revealed that in March, she met with GH executive producer Frank Valentini and talked about her reasons for wanting to make this move.
During that meeting, Storms also expressed her desire to remain on the show, so Valentini was willing to make it work.
Storms shared that she asked for some time off as well, so she was grateful to receive so much support from Valentini, ABC network executives, and the writers.
Obviously, Nicole Paggi is being shown as a temporary recast, but Storms has filmed more episodes and will hit the airwaves as Maxie Jones again during the week of August 18.
That said, Storms admitted he recently had his last day of filming for the year – though he eventually changed that and suggested he could return in December or perhaps November.
It’s possible Paggi will fill in again in the meantime, but Storms’ gratitude towards the writers made it seem more like Maxie was being given a plot-related reason to exit the screen.
Maxie may disappear or leave town on some mission that ties into the action in Port Charles.
Regardless, Storms assured fans that the storyline they have until PC’s return is amazing.
“You guys are going to freak out, actually,” Storms insisted before adding that she can’t wait to see all the comments online.
It’s good to know that Maxie will remain on the show despite Kirsten Storms changing her living situation.
