Leslie Bibb is sharing her thoughts on marriage.
While guest co-hosting Today With Jenna & Friends , the 51-year-old White Lotus actress opened up about her 18-year relationship with boyfriend Sam Rockwell and explained why they have no plans to tie the knot.
Read on to find out more…“Listen, I love Sam Rockwell,” Leslie said. “I put him in my pocket and carried him around with me all the time. I love him. I don’t want to get married.”
“I feel like we’re married!” she added.
Leslie went on to say that the 56-year-old Oscar-winning actor brought up the topic of marriage early on in their relationship, but she shut down that conversation.
“It bugged the crap out of me because he’s like, ‘Really, you don’t want to get married?'” Leslie recalled. “I was like, ‘Stop saying that. I already told you I don’t want to marry you. Stop asking me like I’m going to pull like an awl on you.’ But he didn’t want to either.”
“Maybe it’s probably something about the way we grew up, but I feel like if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” he added.
Leslie also said that she and Sam agreed that they do not want children, noting that she never developed a desire to become a mother.
“I just don’t have that chip in me,” she said.
As for how they keep the spark alive after nearly two decades together, Leslie explained, “You have to constantly pick and choose the relationship. We’ve been together for 18 years… it’s a long time, but I think it gets better. Because the intimacy of a relationship is sexy to me. You can all have hot sex in the beginning, but you have to reinvent yourself.”
