Practical Magic 2 is currently filming and the full cast has been announced!
Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have already been confirmed to return for the sequel, which they are also producing.
The film is set to be released in theaters on September 18, 2026!
Susanne Bier who worked with Nicole on The Perfect Couple and with Sandra on Bird Box is directing the film with a script by Akiva Goldsman (who wrote the original film) and Georgia Pritchett .
“Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet, and Aunt Franny burst from the pages of Alice Hoffman’s beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we’re thrilled to bring the Owens family back to the big screen,” the film team told Deadline in an announcement of the new cast members. “The enduring affection for these characters has been our inspiration to deliver the next installment in the Owens story to new fans and those who have been with us since the beginning.”
Four returning actors and five new cast members are confirmed for the film.
