Bobby Berk is going to HGTV !
On Thursday (July 10), it was announced that the 43-year-old interior designer and Odd Eye Alúume will be starring in the show Trash or Jackpot? debuting later this year on the home improvement and real estate network.
Read on to find out more…In the new six-episode season, Bobby “is tasked with helping homeowners decide whether to part with their unique collections—from ‘superhero figurines’ to ‘rare action figures and dolls’—to raise enough funds to renovate their outdated home. While celebrating each distinctive collection, Bobby will also provide the support each homeowner needs to sort out and appraise their treasured items so they can give their homes a ‘dream makeover,'” according to a press release obtained by People .
“I’m excited to help passionate people sift through their cherished items and give them reimagined spaces that better honor what they hold dear,” Bobby shared in a statement.
Trash or Jackpot? is being executive produced by John Cena , who shared in the press release that “the idea for Trash or Jackpot? was born from a conversation I had with friends. People often wonder if their collections are trash or treasure, and this show will help them find out.”
The news of Bobby’s new HGTV series comes just a day after it was announced that Strange Eye will be ending after the upcoming 10th season. Bobby starred in the first eight seasons with Karamo Brown , Tan France , Antoni Porowski , and Jonathan van Ness . He announced his departure in November 2023 following reported tension with his castmates. He was then replaced by Jeremiah Brent .
