More details about Faith Evans have reportedly been processed by Voletta Wallace’s estate.

On Wednesday, July 9, Billboard published a report stating that a lawsuit was filed against her in Delaware on July 2, and the lawsuit was not released on Tuesday, July 8. The lawsuit was filed by Wayne Barrow, executive and executor of Voletta Wallace’s estate. Furthermore, the lawsuit claims that Wallace “managed an LLC holding Biggie’s assets” after his death in 1997. Then, before her death in February, she negotiated a “transformative” sale of half of the portfolio to Wave Primary.”

The deal was worth $100 million. Additionally, it reportedly gave Primary Wave a stake in the rights to the late rapper’s catalog, name, image, and likeness.

Evans became the sole manager of Biggie LLC after Wallace’s death. Therefore, she was responsible for giving Wallace’s estate “her cut of the profits from the catalog sale.

“Evans distributed the sale to Ty’anna, CJ, and presumably herself,” Barrow wrote in the lawsuit, referring to Biggie’s two children. “She, however, wrongfully retained the trust’s [redacted] share of the proceeds, in the amount of [redacted].”

Furthermore, the lawsuit accuses Evans of refusing to acknowledge “the Voletta Wallace Trust as a 50% member of the holding company.” Furthermore, Evans kept the trust “entirely in the dark about the LLC’s business and affairs.”

“Evans’ actions are particularly troubling since, unlike Barrow, she was never involved in the management of the LLC,” the lawsuit adds.

According to Billboard, Wallace’s estate is asking a court to “grant the Trust its share of the sale of primary waves.” The share will then be donated to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation. Additionally, the lawsuit requests that Evans be removed from his position as sole manager of Biggie LLC. Barrow, in turn, would like to be named sole manager.

At this time, neither Evans nor Primary Wave have publicly commented on the matter.
