Russ kicked off his highly anticipated ‘no W!LD’ tour with a sold-out red rock show, selling nearly 9,000 tickets.
On Wednesday, multi-platinum recording artist and producer Russ kicked off his highly anticipated “Into the W!LD” tour with a sold-out Red Rocks amphitheater show in Morrison, CO, selling nearly 9,000 tickets. The tour, produced by Live Nation, will hit major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, and more. Big Sean and singer-songwriter Sabrina Claudio will support all dates.
The ” No W!ld” tour supports Russ’s sixth studio album, W!LD . Entirely produced by Russ, the album marks the beginning of a new chapter as he begins to explore the inner parts of himself that he hadn’t embraced until now. W!LD includes production from Jake Jepson, Kiri Gerbs, Russ, and more. It features 19 tracks, including previously unreleased singles, “Crazy,” “Pent Up in a Penthouse,” “Movin’,” and “April 7th.”
A champion for independent artists, Russ recently received Billboard’s coveted “Indie Trailblazer” award at the Power Players event earlier this month. Beyond music, Russ recently became a New York Times bestselling author with the release of his second book, “It Was You All Along.” The book reached the top 10 worldwide on Amazon for pre-orders, ranking as the #5 self-help book and the #1 bestselling book for rap and hip-hop musician biographies.
Russ also recently appeared in M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film, ENTRAP , and he will next star in Don’t Move, the new film from director MacLain Nelson, James Murray (Impractical Jokes), and Darren Wearmouth.
