Welcome to SNX DLX, your weekly roundup of the best sneakers to hit the internet. Last week, after a slow holiday-induced drop, we said things would hopefully start heating up again this week, and well, it looks like all of us sneakerheads will have to keep waiting! This week is just as sparse as last week, unfortunately, but it’s not all bad news, as we have a brand-new Jordan, the latest New Balance Abzorb 2000, and Edison Chen and Adidas Stan Smith, A LEVI’s, and Nike Link!

It’s not the best week in sneakers for every sneaker out there, but there’s definitely a sizable audience for a handful of this week’s best sneaker releases. So, let’s dive in!

New Balance Abzorb 2000 – Black with Dark Silver Metallic

New Balance

Price $169.99

Part new silhouette, part 2000-indebted design, the New Balance Abzorb 2000 is the brand’s latest runner and features a subtly futuristic, minimalist design. The shoe boasts a lightweight mesh upper with printed overlays, a sculpted midsole, reflective accents for nighttime visibility, and a segmented sole unit with New Balance’s signature stability shank.

The New Balance Abzorb 2000 is available now for a retail price of $169.99. Grab a pair at New Balance or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club .

LEVI’s X Nike Air Max 95 White and Ecru

Nike

Price: $195

Nike is teaming up with Levi’s for a new set of Air Max 95s—these are two iconic brands coming together, we love to see it! As you might guess, this sneaker features a woven denim upper with frayed edges along the 95’s signature wavy design. The outsole features a red Levi’s branding plate, with a custom dollar sockliner, red woven Levi’s tab branding, and the large bubble unit.

The sneaker comes in two colorways—black and white. Both look great, but we’re digging this white and ecru finish.

Levi’s and ECRU’s OX Nike Air Max 95 is available now for a retail price of $195. Grab a pair through the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club .

New Balance Made in USA 992 White with Marsh Green

New Balance

Price: $199.99

A simple three-color design in a functional yet stylish silhouette is New Balance’s MO right now, and this week’s white and Marsh Green 992 is the perfect showcase for it. The sneaker comes from NB’s NB lineup and features a lightweight mesh upper with suede overlays and reflective details atop an Abzorb midsole for a comfortable ride.

The sneaker features a white upper with deep green overlays, navy branding, and subtle grayish-blue accents. It’s another good-looking shoe from NB, easily the most consistent sneaker brand right now.

The Made in USA New Balance 992 White with Marsh Green is available now for a retail price of $199.99. Grab a pair through the Nike SNKRS app .

Adidas Clot Stan Smith, by Edison Chen (Core Black)

Adidas

Price: $140

For the past two months, Edison Chen has been releasing new iterations of the Stan Smith that attempt to reimagine the silhouette, and this week’s is the most radical yet. The sneaker is nearly unrecognizable, with a luxurious dark leather upper with slightly deconstructed elements, a spaghetti sole, and golf-inspired green heel tabs.

Green is a nice throwback to the colorway’s most iconic sneakers, but we imagine Stan Smith purists are freaking out at how different this sneaker can look. We have no objection to remixing classics, as long as the classics are still available.

The Adidas Clot Stan Smith by Edison Chen (Core Black) is available now for a retail price of $140. Grab a pair through the Adidas Confirmed app .

Nike Air Jordan 40 ‘The Classic’

Nike

Price: $205

A brand new Jordan releases this week, celebrating 40 years of Air Jordan, the Air Jordan 40, “Classic.”

The sneaker features a premium leather upper—as all Jordans should—with a Zoom Strobel unit in the upper and full Zoomx foam for ultra-responsive cushioning. Completing the design is an internal lacing system for a locked-in feel and a spotted heel tab that can’t help but remind us of the spotted shark tooth on the Jordan 5.

We’re still not sure if this is a good thing or not! Either way, it’s great to welcome a new Jordan into the family.

The Nike Air Jordan 40 ‘The Classic’ is set to drop on July 12th at 7:00 PST for a retail price of $205. Grab a pair through the Nike SNKRS app or aftermarket sites like GOAT and Flight Club .
