The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Thursday, July 10, reveals that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) claimed Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) died in recovery, while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) had some eight-toast news for Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).
During Luna’s surgery, Li summoned some “Nozawa power” and helped her recover after she lay flat.
After Luna was stable and her procedure was completed, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) talked about Luna returning to prison.
However, Li argued that they needed to take things one step at a time.
Bridget acknowledged there could be post-operative complications and offered to take Luna to recovery, but Li said he could take him from here.
Li also told Luna that she didn’t deserve this and was clearly showing a lot of sympathy for her.
After Sheila woke up following her own surgery, she looked for updates on Luna and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) didn’t have any new information, but she talked to Sheila about painkillers and asked her to focus on herself now.
Deacon arrived and was relieved that Sheila made it through that terrible ordeal alive.
Sadly, Deacon admitted he hadn’t been able to call Sheila “nine-fingers” since she was eight!
Sheila could tell Deacon was serious and that she was actually stubbing another toe, but he was thankful she was okay.
There were some tense moments in Liam’s operating room, but Finn managed to remove the bullet and ultimately save his life.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Vittor) joined Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood), who explained what happened and led them to the observation window.
Later, Finn came out and admitted that Liam went through with his surgery, so Steffy, Hope, and Carter were relieved to hear.
Liam was still unconscious when Hope sat beside his bed and talked about how he still couldn’t leave them.
Steffy ended up hugging hope while crying, so it brought a sweet moment between them.
After Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) was summoned to the hospital, Steffy complained about everything Luna had done and complained about the whole shooting drama.
After Li showed up, she explained how the procedure went and left Poppy assuming that Luna would be fine.
Li said they did everything they could before insisting Luna died in recovery.
“Well… I’m glad Luna is dead,” Poppy said as Li and everyone else in the waiting area reacted with shock.
Of course, B&B offers obvious clues about Li faking Luna’s death. Luna will still be on the show in September, so it’s easy to see that Li is lying!
Bold spoilers suggest Li will have to continue selling this false story, so don’t miss any obstacles along the way.
