William Levy is entering a misdemeanor diversion program.
The news comes after the 44-year-old Telenovela actor’s arrest on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing earlier this year in Broward County, Florida, per People .
A judge noted that he must complete the program by September 29, per court records.

The misdemeanor diversion program allows first-time offenders “an opportunity to immediately accept responsibility for their actions, seek rehabilitation, and divert their cases from the criminal court system,” according to the Broward County State’s Attorney’s office website.
William was “highly intoxicated and causing a disturbance,” resulting in him being asked to leave by the manager on duty, per the booking report.
The arresting officer claimed he was given several verbal orders to leave the property “and after failing to do so, was “transported to the main prison.”
