In a fresh development, Delhi Capitals pacer T Natarajan has sparked rumours of his possible trade to CSK in IPL 2026 on Saturday. The Tamil Nadu bowler, who was bagged by DC for Rs 10.75 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction, played only two matches for the franchise in the previous season. Natarajan was spotted training at the CSK Academy in Chennai on Saturday, triggering speculations of a possible trade from DC to CSK.
Natarajan to move to CSK in IPL 2026?
Natarajan made his IPL debut in 2017 with Punjab Kings and played six games in that season. After missing the 2018 and 2019 edition, the Tamil Nadu pacer found a new home in SRH where he spent five seasons. He was then released by the one-time champions before the IPL 2025 mega auction and was picked up by DC.

Earlier on Saturday, reports claimed that CSK were looking for another DC star in the trade window – KL Rahul. The report came just a day after Times of India claimed that Kolkata Knight Riders were keen on acquiring his services via trade.
Meanwhile, earlier in June, reports had also claimed that CSK were interested in getting Sanju Samson from RR as a potential future replacement for MS Dhoni. However, none of these reports have been confirmed yet. A mini-auction will take place later this year for IPL 2026 and the trade window could possibly open up at that point of time.
