Gemini is launching on Wear OS Watches from Pixel, Samsung, Oppo, OnePlus, and Xiaomi.
With this update, you can say “Hey Google,” press and hold the side button on your watch, or tap the Gemini app on your watch to access the company’s AI assistant.
This uses the same Gemini AI models as what’s on your phone and offers a natural and intelligent way to access information without your phone.
Google gave a few examples of when to use Gemini on your watch, like when your hands are full and you need to ask quick questions, if you’re on a bike ride, or when your phone isn’t on your person.
Twins on your watch can explore other apps, like Google Calendar or Gmail. It can also remember information like where you parked, and you can set reminders.
This is rolling out to wearable watches running Wear OS 4 or later in the coming weeks.
